The Soft Boys were an English rock band formed in 1976 in Cambridge, led by guitarist and vocalist Robyn Hitchcock. They released two studio albums: "A Can of Bees" (1979) and "Underwater Moonlight" (1980). Their music blended elements of post-punk, alternative rock, and neo-psychedelia. After disbanding in 1981, members pursued various musical projects, with Hitchcock continuing a successful solo career. The band reunited in 2002 to release "Nextdoorland". Their influence is evident in many subsequent indie and alternative bands.
