The Trammps are an American disco and soul band from Philadelphia, best known for their 1976 hit "Disco Inferno," which was featured on the "Saturday Night Fever" soundtrack. Formed in the 1970s, the group included members Earl Young, Harold 'Doc' Wade, Jimmy Ellis, Robert Upchurch, and Stanley Wade. Other notable songs include "Hold Back the Night" and "That's Where the Happy People Go." Their albums "Disco Inferno" and "Where the Happy People Go" charted on the Billboard 200.
