The Vibrators are a British punk rock band formed in London in 1976. The original lineup consisted of Ian 'Knox' Carnochan (vocals, guitar), Pat Collier (bass guitar), John Ellis (guitar), and John 'Eddie' Edwards (drums). Their debut album, 'Pure Mania' (1977), reached number 49 on the UK Albums Chart, followed by 'V2' (1978), which peaked at number 33. The single 'Automatic Lover' from this album reached number 35 on the UK Singles Chart. The band collaborated with artists such as Chris Spedding and Iggy Pop. Throughout their career, they underwent several lineup changes and released over 15 studio albums. In 2022, they released the album 'Fall into the Sky'.
