Tommy Bolin was an American rock guitarist known for his work with Zephyr, James Gang, and Deep Purple, as well as his solo career. His albums "Teaser" and "Private Eyes" showcase his ability to blend hard rock, jazz fusion, and blues rock. Bolin also contributed to Billy Cobham's "Spectrum" album, which is considered significant in the jazz fusion genre. His career was prematurely ended by his death in 1976.
