Trailer Bride was an alternative country band from Chapel Hill, North Carolina, active from 1993 to 2004. The group was led by vocalist and guitarist Melissa Swingle. They released five albums under Bloodshot Records, including "Trailer Bride" (1997) and "Hope Is a Thing with Feathers" (2003). Their music blended elements of country, blues, and gothic folk.
