Ween was an American rock band from New Hope, Pennsylvania, formed in 1984 by Aaron Freeman (Gene Ween) and Mickey Melchiondo (Dean Ween). The band was known for its eclectic style, encompassing alternative rock, experimental rock, and indie rock. Notable albums include "Chocolate and Cheese" (1994), "The Mollusk" (1997), and "White Pepper" (2000). Throughout their career, they collaborated with producer Andrew Weiss and garnered a devoted cult following. The band disbanded in 2012, reunited in 2015, and announced an indefinite hiatus in 2024.
