Y&T is an American hard rock and heavy metal band formed in 1972 in Oakland, California. Originally known as Yesterday and Today, the band later shortened their name to Y&T. Their most notable albums include "Earthshaker" (1981), "Black Tiger" (1982), and "Mean Streak" (1983).
