Yellowman, born Winston Foster, is a Jamaican reggae and dancehall artist who rose to prominence in the 1980s. His albums "Mister Yellowman" (1982) and "Zungguzungguguzungguzeng" (1983) are considered genre classics. Yellowman was the first dancehall artist to sign with a major American label, contributing to the international spread of Jamaican music.
