Yoko Ono (born February 18, 1933, in Tokyo, Japan) is a Japanese multimedia artist, singer, songwriter, and peace activist. In the 1960s, she became a prominent figure in conceptual and performance art, associated with the Fluxus group. In 1969, she married John Lennon of The Beatles, collaborating on several musical projects, including the album "Double Fantasy" (1980), which won the Grammy Award for Album of the Year. Her solo works include albums "Fly" (1971) and "Approximately Infinite Universe" (1973). Her work spans genres such as avant-garde, experimental rock, and electronic music.
