Yona-Kit was an American-Japanese math rock band formed in 1994. The lineup included K.K. Null (guitar, vocals), Jim O'Rourke (guitar), Darin Gray (bass guitar), and Thymme Jones (drums). All members, except K.K. Null, were part of the band Brise-Glace. The group released a single self-titled album, "Yona-Kit," in 1995 under Skin Graft Records. The album was recorded in Chicago in June 1994 with Steve Albini. Yona-Kit's music is characterized by complex time signatures and an experimental approach, blending genres such as alternative rock, art rock, and noise. The track "Franken-Bitch" features guest vocals by Yasuko Onuki from Melt-Banana.
