Young Fathers is a Scottish trio from Edinburgh, consisting of Alloysious Massaquoi, Kayus Bankole, and Graham 'G' Hastings. Formed in 2008, the group is known for their unique blend of hip-hop, alternative, and electronic music. Their debut album, 'DEAD' (2014), won the prestigious Mercury Prize. Subsequent albums include 'White Men Are Black Men Too' (2015), 'Cocoa Sugar' (2018), and 'Heavy Heavy' (2023). In 2025, they composed the soundtrack for Danny Boyle's film '28 Years Later', expanding their musical endeavors into the film industry.
