Yundi Li is a Chinese piano virtuoso born on October 7, 1982, in Chongqing. In 2000, at the age of 18, he became the youngest winner of the International Chopin Piano Competition. His discography includes 16 studio albums, such as "Chopin: Piano Concertos Nos. 1 & 2" and "Liszt: Piano Sonata in B minor". Yundi is renowned for his interpretations of works by Chopin, Liszt, and Prokofiev. He has collaborated with leading orchestras like the Berlin Philharmonic and the Warsaw Philharmonic. In 2015, he served as the youngest juror of the Chopin Competition. In 2019, he received the Gold Medal for Merit to Culture - Gloria Artis from the Polish government.
