empty cell Zaperoko
Zaperoko was formed in the early 1980s when trombonist Edwin Feliciano visited Cuba and was influenced by the Songo rhythm of Los Van Van. Upon returning to Puerto Rico, he created Zaperoko, releasing their debut album "Cosa De Locos" in 1983 under producer René López. The group later collaborated with Los Pleneros del Truco to form Truco & Zaperoko. Their music blends elements of salsa and Latin jazz, contributing to the development of the genre known as world music. The products available from the artist Zaperoko include CDs.
