Alban Berg was an Austrian composer and member of the Second Viennese School. His compositional style combined Romantic lyricism with the twelve-tone technique. His major works include the operas "Wozzeck" and "Lulu", the "Violin Concerto", and the "Lyric Suite". Berg was known for his expressive style encompassing "entire worlds of emotion and structure".
