Amadeus Guitar Duo is an internationally acclaimed guitar duo comprising Canadian guitarist Dale Kavanagh and German guitarist Thomas Kirchhoff. Formed in 1991, the duo has performed over 1,800 concerts in approximately 70 countries worldwide. Their repertoire includes works for two guitars and collaborations with orchestras, having worked with notable ensembles such as the Munich Symphony Orchestra and the Philharmonia Hungarica. Significant albums include "Spanish Night," "Baroque Moments," and "Images from the South." In 1992, they founded the International Guitar Symposium in Iserlohn, which has become one of Europe's most significant festivals of its kind.
