Anastasia Kobekina is a Russian cellist renowned for her exceptional musicality and technique. She studied at the Moscow Conservatory, Kronberg Academy, Berlin University of the Arts, and the Paris Conservatoire. In 2019, she secured third place at the International Tchaikovsky Competition. As a soloist, she has performed with orchestras such as the Konzerthausorchester Berlin, Wiener Symphoniker, and BBC Philharmonic. In 2024, she released her debut album "Venice" under the Sony Classical label. She plays on a 1698 Antonio Stradivari cello, generously loaned by the Stradivari Stiftung Habisreutinger.
