? and the Mysterians is an American garage rock band from Saginaw, Michigan, active since 1962. Their 1966 debut single, "96 Tears," reached number one on the Billboard Hot 100. Their debut album "96 Tears" and the follow-up "Action" from 1967 are considered garage rock classics. The band has influenced many later punk and garage bands.
