Astrophobos is a Swedish black metal band formed in 2009 in Stockholm. Their debut album, "Remnants of Forgotten Horrors," was released in 2014, followed by "Malice of Antiquity" in 2019 and "Corpus" in 2021. Their music is characterized by a melodic approach to black metal, with lyrics often drawing inspiration from the works of H.P. Lovecraft and themes of cosmic horror. The band collaborated with artists Lisa Wallert and Morgan Norman on the "Corpus" project, which combines music, sculpture, and photography to explore themes of impermanence, death, and decay.
