He was a member of the hip-hop group Terror Squad, and his 1998 debut album "Capital Punishment" became the first solo rap album by a Latino artist to achieve platinum certification. The album includes tracks like "I'm Not a Player" and "Still Not a Player." In 2000, he released his second album, "Yeeeah Baby." He collaborated with artists such as Fat Joe, Wyclef Jean, and Busta Rhymes. He was nominated for a Grammy Award for Best Rap Album. He passed away in 2000 due to heart failure.
