Blind Melon is an American rock band formed in 1990 in Los Angeles. The original lineup included vocalist Shannon Hoon, guitarists Rogers Stevens and Christopher Thorn, bassist Brad Smith, and drummer Glen Graham. The band is best known for their 1993 hit "No Rain." They released three studio albums: "Blind Melon" (1992), "Soup" (1995), and "For My Friends" (2008). After Hoon's death in 1995, the band disbanded but reunited in 2006 with new vocalist Travis Warren. Their music blends alternative rock with elements of psychedelic and folk rock.
