Bobby Selvaggio is an American jazz saxophonist and composer. In 2014, he released the album "Short Stories" under the Origin Records label, featuring nine original compositions. The album includes collaborations with pianist Aaron Goldberg, bassist Ashley Summers, and drummer Chris Baker. It was recorded at Red Rock Recording in Saylorsburg, Pennsylvania, in September 2013. Tracks include "Eye of Jupiter," "Song for Rebecca," and "Summers End." The album received positive reviews, with All About Jazz NY noting that Selvaggio "lets the influence of past greats like Cannonball and Phil Woods glow through his playing but also makes it quite clear that his own voice is creative and original."
