'Mirage' is the second studio album by British progressive rock band Camel, released on March 1, 1974. This album is considered one of the pinnacles of 1970s progressive rock, featuring iconic tracks like 'Lady Fantasy' and 'Nimrodel/The Procession/The White Rider', inspired by 'The Lord of the Rings'. Musically, it is characterized by complex instrumental passages, showcasing Andrew Latimer's guitar solos and Peter Bardens' keyboard parts, supported by a dynamic rhythm section. The album was recorded at Island Studios in London and produced by David Hitchcock. In 2014, it was ranked 51st in Prog magazine's Top 100 Prog Albums of All Time.
