Cold Specks returns with her fourth album, Light for the Midnight, released on April 11, 2025. This album is a collection of fervent ballads and atmospheric songs, with her soulful voice channeled into expansive sonic worlds. The album was crafted in Toronto and Bristol, co-produced by Adrian Utley of Portishead and Ali Chant. It features string arrangements by Owen Pallett and additional contributions from Graham Walsh of Holy Fuck. Light for the Midnight captures Cold Specks at her most vulnerable and powerful, weaving stories of struggle into stunning compositions that resonate deeply. The album is available on CD in an eco-friendly package with a lyric booklet.
