All compositions were recorded by Duo Simolka–Wohlhauser, with composer René Wohlhauser participating as baritone, pianist, and percussionist alongside soprano Christine Simolka. The texts are predominantly poems by Wohlhauser himself, except for 'Une nuit toute passionnée,' which utilizes excerpts from a letter by Simone de Beauvoir to Jean-Paul Sartre.
