'Last Light' is the debut album by Eardrum, released on October 21, 1999. This album offers a unique fusion of African rhythms, dub, and electronics, creating a hypnotic soundscape. Percussionists Lou Ciccotelli and Richard Olatunde Baker, known for their collaborations with Laika and Ice, worked alongside talented musicians such as Nana Tsiboe (percussion, flute), Gary Jeff (electronics), Matt Barge (trumpet), and Ike Leo (saxophone). Recorded live, the album utilizes the studio as an instrument for sound manipulation, resulting in a dynamic and immersive listening experience.
