'THE MAYFIELD' is the debut album by The Mayfield, released on August 16, 2024. This album offers a unique blend of jazz and experimental sounds, developed during their collaboration on Heiner Goebbels' music-theater piece 'Everything that happened and would happen'. The recording was made at Paris's La Muse en Circuit studio, specifically designed for electro-acoustic music. The album features 16 tracks that combine acoustic and electronic instruments, such as percussion, saxophones, prepared grand piano, ondes Martenot, and an electric guitar with digital sensors. The result is a soundscape between controlled noise and 'musique concrète instrumentale', appealing to enthusiasts of contemporary experimental music.
