Charlotte de Witte is a Belgian DJ and producer known for her "dark and stripped-back" style of acid and minimal techno. She began her career in 2010 under the alias Raving George to avoid prejudices against female DJs. In 2015, she adopted her real name and shifted her musical style to techno. That same year, she released her debut EP "Weltschmerz". In 2019, she founded her own label, KNTXT, which has become a platform for techno artists. In 2021, she collaborated with Enrico Sangiuliano to release a remix of "The Age of Love", which became a hit and earned a gold record for selling over 500,000 units. De Witte is considered one of the leading figures in the contemporary techno scene.
