Claude Challe is a French DJ and club owner, known as the co-founder of the Buddha Bar restaurant and music compilations. Born in 1945 in Tunisia, he moved to France in 1948. In 1963, he opened the first unisex hair salon in Paris. Later, he became a significant figure in Parisian nightlife, managing clubs like Les Bains Douches and Buddha Bar. His music compilations, such as "Buddha Bar" and "Lover-Dose," blend electronic music with lounge and world music. He collaborated with his brother Jean-Marc Challe on projects like "SPA Dreams."
