Coheed and Cambria is an American rock band from Nyack, New York, formed in 1995. The current lineup consists of Claudio Sanchez (vocals, guitar, keyboards), Travis Stever (guitar, vocals), Josh Eppard (drums, keyboards, backing vocals), and Zach Cooper (bass guitar, backing vocals). Their music blends elements of progressive rock, pop, heavy metal, and post-hardcore. Most of their albums are concept albums narrating "The Amory Wars" storyline, written by Claudio Sanchez. The band has released eleven studio albums, including "Vaxis – Act III: The Father of Make Believe" in 2025. Six of their albums have reached the Billboard Top 10. Their accolades include the MTVU Woodie Award for Best Album in 2004 and the Kerrang! Award for Best Music Video in 2008.
