Control Denied was an American progressive metal band founded by Chuck Schuldiner, known from the band Death. Their only studio album, "The Fragile Art of Existence", was released in 1999. The album combines elements of progressive and power metal and is considered a significant contribution to these genres. In this project, Schuldiner focused on guitar and songwriting, entrusting vocals to Tim Aymar. The album was positively received by critics and fans and remains an important part of Schuldiner's musical legacy.
