Cross Record is the musical project of Emily Cross, an artist and musician based in Austin, Texas. While studying at the Art Institute of Chicago, she began releasing music under this name. In 2012, she released her debut album "Be Good," followed by "Wabi-Sabi" in 2016. In 2019, she released the album "Cross Record." Her music is known for its minimalist and experimental arrangements, combining delicate vocals with unconventional instruments. She has collaborated with musicians such as Thor Harris of Swans and is a member of the band Loma alongside Jonathan Meiburg of Shearwater.
