Dag Nasty is an American hardcore punk band from Washington D.C., formed in 1985 by guitarist Brian Baker of Minor Threat, drummer Colin Sears, and bassist Roger Marbury. Their debut album, "Can I Say" (1986), is considered a seminal work in melodic hardcore. The band has been active during various periods, releasing albums such as "Wig Out at Denko's" (1987) and "Field Day" (1988). Their music has influenced numerous post-hardcore bands and remains a significant part of the American punk scene.
