Di Melo, born Roberto de Melo Santos in 1949 in Recife, Brazil, is a singer-songwriter known for blending MPB, funk, soul, and psychedelia. His 1975 self-titled debut album became a cult classic for its unique sound. After a period of seclusion in the 1980s, he returned to music, releasing "Imorrível" in 2016 and collaborating with French group Cotonete on "Atemporal" in 2019.
