Eddie Kirkland was an American blues guitarist, harmonica player, singer, and songwriter, known as the "Gypsy of the Blues" for his rigorous touring schedule. Born in 1923 and raised in Dothan, Alabama, Kirkland was renowned for his original guitar riffs and unique tunings. He collaborated with John Lee Hooker from 1949 to 1962, recording for various labels, and later led Otis Redding's band. His discography includes albums like "It's the Blues Man!"
