Edith Frost is an American singer-songwriter born in San Antonio, Texas. She began her musical career in the 1990s in Brooklyn, playing in country bands such as The Holler Sisters and The Marfa Lights. In 1996, she moved to Chicago and signed with the Drag City label, which released her debut album "Calling Over Time" in 1997. This was followed by "Telescopic" (1998), "Wonder Wonder" (2001), and "It's a Game" (2005). After a lengthy hiatus, she released "In Space" in 2025. Her music blends elements of alternative rock, indie pop, and folk rock. She has collaborated with artists like Jim O'Rourke, Archer Prewitt, and Rick Rizzo.
