Edward Sharpe and the Magnetic Zeros was an American folk rock band formed in Los Angeles in 2005. Led by singer Alex Ebert, who created the alter ego Edward Sharpe from a story he wrote in his youth, the band's debut album "Up from Below" (2009) featured the hit "Home." They released three more albums: "Here" (2012), "Edward Sharpe and the Magnetic Zeros" (2013), and "PersonA" (2016). Their music blended elements of indie folk, folk rock, and neo-psychedelia.
