Paradox is a German thrash and speed metal band formed in 1986 in Würzburg. Their second album, "Heresy," released in 1989, is a concept album focusing on the 13th-century Albigensian Crusade. The album was recorded at Music Lab Studio in West Berlin and produced by Harris Johns. Following "Heresy," the band took a long hiatus, with their next album, "Collision Course," released in 2000.
