Festival Strings Lucerne is a chamber orchestra founded in 1956 by Rudolf Baumgartner and Wolfgang Schneiderhan. The ensemble comprises seventeen string soloists and a harpsichordist, expandable to a 60-member orchestra for symphonic repertoire.
