Frau Kraushaar is a German artist and musician known for her avant-garde approach to pop music. She has released four albums: "Fast Asleep" (2007), "Le Salon is very Morbidä." (2010), "The Power of Appropriation" (2012), and "Bella Utopia" (2022). Her music blends elements of rock, indie rock, and alternative genres. The album "Bella Utopia" won the Alternative Berlin Music Award "Das Glitzereinhörncen" in 2022. She collaborated with filmmaker Helena Wittmann on the music video "Lamentierendes Schwein," which received the 3rd prize at the International Short Film Festival Oberhausen in 2023. Her work is known for its experimental approach, combining music with visual art.
