Geert Callaert is a Belgian pianist and composer known for his extensive repertoire spanning classical to contemporary music. He studied at the Lemmens Institute in Leuven and is a laureate of the Orpheus Institute in Ghent. He has collaborated with various ensembles and orchestras, including the Prometheus Ensemble and the Flemish Radio Orchestra. His discography includes over 30 CDs and DVDs, featuring albums such as "Perpetuum Mobile" and "WIT in WIT: Goldberg Variations Revisited". Callaert is also a co-founder of the HERMESensemble and serves as a piano professor at Fontys University of Applied Sciences in Tilburg.
