Giuliano Carmignola is an Italian violinist born in Treviso. He studied with his father, then with Luigi Ferro at the Venice Conservatory, and later with Nathan Milstein and Franco Gulli at the Accademia Chigiana in Siena. He began his career as a soloist under conductors such as Claudio Abbado and Giuseppe Sinopoli. Carmignola has collaborated with ensembles like the Venice Baroque Orchestra and Il Giardino Armonico. His recordings for Sony Classical and Deutsche Grammophon have received awards such as the Diapason d'Or.
