Gordian Knot was an American rock band led by bassist Sean Malone. Active from 1998 to 2020, the group released two albums: "Gordian Knot" (1999) and "Emergent" (2003). Their music blended elements of progressive rock, jazz fusion, and progressive metal. Collaborators included Steve Hackett (Genesis), Bill Bruford (Yes, King Crimson), Ron Jarzombek (Watchtower, Spastic Ink), and John Myung (Dream Theater).
