Gordon Lightfoot was a Canadian singer and songwriter known for his folk-oriented pop songs of the 1960s and 1970s. His most notable songs include "If You Could Read My Mind," "Sundown," and "The Wreck of the Edmund Fitzgerald." Throughout his career, he released 20 studio albums and won 17 Juno Awards. His songs have been covered by artists such as Bob Dylan, Elvis Presley, and Barbra Streisand.
