Gothic Voices is a British vocal ensemble specializing in the performance of medieval music. The group was founded in 1980 by Christopher Page. Their repertoire includes works by composers such as Guillaume de Machaut, Guillaume Du Fay, and Hildegard von Bingen. The ensemble has recorded over 20 albums, three of which have won the Gramophone Award. Their debut album, "A Feather on the Breath of God," is one of the best-selling recordings of pre-classical music. In 2020, this album was added to the National Recording Registry of the U.S. Library of Congress for its cultural and historical significance.
