Ibrahim Ferrer was a Cuban singer known for his contributions to traditional Cuban music. Throughout his career, he collaborated with various musical groups, including Los Bocucos, where he performed for nearly forty years. In 1996, he joined the Buena Vista Social Club project, leading to international recognition. His solo albums, such as "Buena Vista Social Club Presents Ibrahim Ferrer" (1999) and "Buenos Hermanos" (2003), received positive acclaim. His final album, "Mi Sueño" (2006), was dedicated to the bolero genre, fulfilling his lifelong dream. Ferrer passed away in 2005 at the age of 78.
