Intergalactic Lovers is a Belgian indie rock band from Aalst, consisting of vocalist Lara Chedraoui, guitarist Maarten Huygens, bassist Raf De Mey, and drummer Brendan Corbey. Formed in 2008, they debuted with the album "Greetings & Salutations" in 2011, featuring successful singles like "Fade Away" and "Delay". Their music is characterized by introspective lyrics and catchy melodies, drawing inspiration from artists like Feist and PJ Harvey. In 2011, they won the MIA award for "Best Breakthrough Artist". Subsequent albums include "Little Heavy Burdens" (2014), "Exhale" (2017), and "Liquid Love" (2022), each showcasing the evolution of their sound and artistic direction.
