Janko Nilović is a Montenegrin-Greek composer, arranger, and musician born in Istanbul in 1941. After moving to Paris in 1960, he became a significant figure in library music, with works spanning genres such as jazz, funk, psychedelic rock, and pop. Notable albums include "Psyc Impressions" (1969), "Pop Impressions" (1972), and "Soul Impressions" (1975). Nilović's music has been frequently sampled by hip-hop artists, including Dr. Dre and Jay-Z. In 2010, he won a Grammy Award for his contribution to the track "D.O.A. (Death of Auto-Tune)."
