Jeroen de Groot is a Dutch violinist who studied with Herman Krebbers at the Amsterdam Conservatory, later continuing his studies with Sándor Végh in Salzburg and Ivry Gitlis in Paris. In 1985, he won the National Violin Competition Oskar Back. His discography includes albums such as "French Collection" (2006) and "Pure Live III" (2023). De Groot is known for his live performances and has collaborated with pianist Bernd Brackman on several projects. His repertoire includes works by composers like Bach, Ysaÿe, and Saint-Saëns.
