Jim Ward is an American musician from El Paso, Texas. He co-founded the post-hardcore band At the Drive-In in 1994 with Cedric Bixler-Zavala. After the band's dissolution in 2001, he formed the alternative rock band Sparta, releasing five studio albums. In 2008, he launched the alternative country project Sleepercar. In 2021, Ward released his solo album "Daggers" under Dine Alone Records. He is recognized for his contributions to the alternative rock and post-hardcore scenes.
