Joe Farrell was an American jazz multi-instrumentalist, primarily known as a saxophonist and flutist. He recorded for CTI Records and was a member of Chick Corea's Return to Forever. His notable albums include "Joe Farrell Quartet" (1970), "Outback" (1971), and "Moon Germs" (1972). He collaborated with artists such as Herbie Hancock and Stanley Clarke. Farrell passed away in 1986 at the age of 48.
